Environmental boating tour on the river Isloch
23 and 29 April 2016 at the initiative of the company <EPAM> and the US Embassy in the Republic of Belarus and with the support of the tourist enterprise "Greenteam" the annual environmental Isloch River boating took place.
The main purpose of the event is to clean the river, which is considered to be unique in terms of natural value, from the household and objects of human activity.
This year about 150 people participated in the cleaning of the river.

Environmental boating tour on the river Isloch
April 25th, 2015 at the initiative of the tourist enterprise "Greenteam", which popularizes the active forms of recreation and rest in Belarus, the regular ecological river boating tour on the river Isloch was held. The main purpose of the event is to clean the river, which is considered to be unique in terms of natural value, from the household and objects of human activity. Last year the cleaning of Isloch river was held in cooperation of Greenteam and the public association "Ahova Ptushak Bat’kaushchyny (Birds’ Life Protection)". This year, the initiative was supported by much more organizations. The river was cleaned by the crews of volunteers from the newspaper "Turizm i Otdych (Tourism and Rest, tio.by)" Belarusian portal TUT.BY, the public association "Ahova Ptushak Bat’kaushchyny (Birds’ Life Protection)", club of Indian historical reconstruction "Ayat" (Minsk), tourist enterprise "Greenteam". An interesting peculiarity in this action was the participation of volunteers from the US Embassy in Minsk, headed by the Attorney, Mr. Scott Roland.
Tractors for garbage collection as well as a tractor-crane to raise the flooded remains of an old car brand "Zaporozhets" were provided by Country Club "Festivalny". This action took place with the agreement and support of the administration of Volozhin district. As a result, after 6 hours of boating, about 7 kilometers upstream of the river Isloch was cleared; it was collected more than a ton of garbage, including the remains of a submerged car.
Tourist Enterprise "Greenteam" would like to thank all the volunteers who with their personal practical examples pay the attention of our society to the necessity of preserving the nature of our country.
